Megan Callison, soprano holds a master's degree in Vocal Performance and Singing Health Specialization from The Ohio State Univerisity and a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. Ms. Megan's recent performances include singing the title role in Cendrillon and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro with Ohio State Opera & Lyric Theatre. She has also performed several seasons with Prairie Fire Theatre's Opera Outreach program. Initially having started singing Musical Theatre, Ms. Megan enjoys a wide variety of musical genres and her favorite is French Mélodies. In lessons, Ms. Megan encourages students to build healthy voice technique while expressing themselves and having fun!

Maddie Hanrahan has a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University and 9 years of experience in singing and performing. She has a background in classical training, but she loves musical theatre just as much as she loves classical music. Her favorite type of music to sing is German Lieder and some of her favorite roles she has played include Wednesday in The Addams Family and Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte. Maddie aims to help students become confident musicians with a strong foundation of music theory. Above all, Maddie believes that music is about having fun and building confidence as a musician and performer.

I started Sing with Emily to share my passion and knowledge for singing and acting with young students who are also passionate about music and theatre. Sing with Emily is a non-competitive studio, where students are encouraged to try new things. We focus on confidence building while we learn new skills!

The studio is a collaborative place where the student's ideas are listened to, and classes are designed with their creativity in mind!
