Program Overview:
Our Summer Selfie Program aims to provide a fun and educational experience for young individuals aged 8 to 14 during their summer break. The program focuses on promoting creativity, physical activity, and strategic thinking through various activities, including arts and crafts, recreational games, chess, and board games. With our engaging and inclusive program, participants will have the opportunity to develop new skills, make friends, and have a memorable summer!

Program Details:

Duration: The program runs during the summer break for a period of six weeks, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3 pm.

Location: The program will be held at our Majer Greatness Center located at 2906-A Evans Mill Rd. Lithonia, GA 3038.

Registration Fee: There is a one-time registration fee of $75 per participant, which covers program materials and supplies.

Meals: Nutritious breakfast and lunch will be provided daily to all participants, ensuring they have the energy to engage in activities throughout the day.

After-Hour Care: Upon request, after-hour care is available for an additional fee. This service extends the program until 6 pm, allowing parents or guardians more flexibility.

Program Activities:

Arts and Crafts: Participants will explore their artistic abilities through various creative projects such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and other crafts. They will have the opportunity to express themselves and develop their imagination while learning new techniques.

Recreation: Physical activity is crucial for a well-rounded summer experience. Our program offers a range of recreational activities including team sports, outdoor games, and organized exercises to keep the participants active, promote teamwork, and enhance their motor skills.

Chess: Chess is a game known for its intellectual challenges and strategic thinking. Participants will receive chess lessons and engage in friendly competitions, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and concentration skills. Beginner and intermediate players will have opportunities to improve their game.

Board Games: Participants will have access to a variety of board games, encouraging them to engage in friendly competition, enhance their decision-making skills, and develop their social interactions. From classics to modern favorites, there will be games suitable for all skill levels and interests.
