Beginner gymnastics focuses on teaching the basics of vault, bars, beam, and floor while building strength and coordination. We utilize stations, gross motor activities, and tumble track to provide children with experience in the gym.
Skills include:
Floor: Cartwheel, roundoff, backbend, and rolls
Beam: walks, fips, turns, and leaps
Dance: Leaps and body positions
Bars: cast glides swings, and jump to support
Vault: run, hurdle, safe landing position, and straddle
Conditioning: jumps, push-ups, calf raises, and splits
trampoline: jumps and drops
